Holenderski kwartet założony w 1991 w Beilen. Debiut stylistycznie przypominał najbardziej deathmetalową twórczość Pungent Stench i Asphyx, ale pojawiło się też sporo motywów blackowych. Ten materiał niczym nie zaskakiwał, w dodatku odegrano go jakby bez fantazji. Rozczarowany Sattler założył thrash/deathowy Ministry Of Terror (Fall of Life w 1995), by w 1997 wskrzesić God Dethroned w nowym składzie, serwując wciąż death starej szkoły z drobnymi elementami blacku.
Tony Laureano przeszedł do Nile, wspierał na trasie Malevolent Creation, dołączył w końcu do Insidious Disease. Danny Tunker grał w Detonation (Reprisal w 2011), Aborted i Alkaloid. Michiel Van Der Plicht bbnił w Pestilence.
